As I sit here this morning I feel a certain amount of frustration over the political climate in our country. I voted for Obama. I would again, by the way! But, I am a little discouraged because I think he ,and the democratic majority, are letting a lot of people that voted for change down by not bringing it on. Use your damn majority and get those things done that I voted you in for. The hell with the Republicans! They will do their damage the day they get a majority again. So I guess I just wanted to vent this morning. And no better place than here because nobody reads this anyway LOL !!

Well, it's the first "real" day of the new year and time for a little soul searching. '09 was not a bad year but it did bring some big changes. I guess losing 100 pounds and moving my senile Mother in law in with me ranks on top of last years life changers. My goals for '10 are pretty simple. I want to finally finish up my CD project "Blue" and finish writing all the material for "My minds eye". I need to get back to writing more chapters for the book project as well. Creative juices need to flow this year. I want to go to Europe this year to visit my Brothers,Sister in laws, Uncles,Aunts. Nephews and Nieces and my Godson DJ.

Need top get on an exercise routine. It fell to the wayside while I was working. It was a good thing to work again but it sure did interfere with the routine I had! Money was good though and made some great new friends from all around the world !!

I now have contacts and invites in Greece,China,Puerto Rico,Italy and Turkey.

All good.

I hope all of you are well and I wish you a great 2010.

It is interesting to feel a change in your own behaviour when you return to a structured work environment. I am already beginning to remember why I was happy when I left in the first place. Seems like I have issues with having my time structured for me by someone else. Yet, in my German blood upbringing I am always on time, and do what I am told to do. Oh well, it's only for about 50 more days. I can deal.

On the positive side ,I am meeting new people from around the globe including this gentleman from mainland China. He is teaching me interesting things about his culture. His name is Fang, and he is from Shanghai.

So, I am looking at building a home studio. Or, as it also known a black hole in my garage!

But, I need to improve my recording and production capacity if I really want to get more serious about song writing,video production and recording. So many horror stories about home studios!!

Sunshine

Well the rain is gone for a few hours. Let the sunshine in.

There is nothing wrong with rainy,cold days. They remind me of my childhood.

But, a little sun shine does not hurt. So , I put on my vinyl version of "Here comes the sun", sigh deeply and dive into a new day. Hope yours is good.
